Our Lady of the Lake University
Project CoMeT-R
The Collaboration, Mentoring and Technology for
Recruitment (CoMeT-R) project aims to recruit, train and prepare
qualified teachers in the San Antonio area. Working with
Edgewood, Somerset, Southside, Floresville and other rural
school districts, Our Lady of the Lake University will provide
tuition stipends for 2008 to:

Paraprofessionals completing
their bachelor’s degree and initial teacher certification;
and
-
Career-changing
professionals earning a master’s degree and initial teacher
certification (MENTC Program).
